A home away from home

The brief: This was a complete styling project of a four-bedroom apartment in the heart of Singapore’s Orchard Road. As the unit was purchased as a holiday home, the objective of our task was to create a home away from home.

Approach: Situated among high-rise buildings and decorated with luxurious finishes, the key to this interior design project was to elegantly imbue the space with warmth and colour. This was achieved through the careful use of bespoke carpentry, specially selected furniture, fabrics, and rugs. Through deliberately selecting furnishing pieces, the architectural lines of the surrounding buildings were seamlessly incorporated into the interior design scheme, bringing about an inviting and cohesive ambience.

Pops of colour were strategically used to infuse warmth and vibrancy in this turnkey project, ensuring a result that perfectly met our client’s vision and expectations. Creating a seamless experience between the inside and outside living areas, pops of yellow tie together this design scheme.

Luxurious fabrics, bespoke furniture pieces, and gold accessories lend a sense of sophistication to the space, whilst contrasting fabric choices add surprising elements. Establishing continuity and harmony between different corners of the home, artwork elevates the holiday home's interior design by serving as the focus of each space. Paying attention to the smallest of details integrated into each of the spaces to complete the overall look and bring warmth to the home.
