Optimizing space and Function

The brief: This fabulous penthouse in a prestigious building in the heart of Singapore boasted unblocked views and a spacious layout. The clients are art collectors and wanted a space with specific lighting to hi light the art.

Approach: We retained the existing structure of the apartment, but we knocked down and added walls to ensure that the space was better utilized, allocating different zones of the space specifically for work and play. We redesigned the ceilings and relocated m and e pipes to increase the ceiling height of the entire apartment. One of our biggest achievements was to overhaul the lighting in the apartment . It was a key design feature where we used both direct and indirect lighting sources at varying heights to give us the desired effect. The swimming pool area was completely overhauled without changing the structural integrity of the space.
